The Board of Trustees of the Umaru & Hilda Abu Foundation (UHAF) provides strategic direction, governance oversight, and fiduciary stewardship for the Foundation. As the highest decision-making body of UHAF, the Board is responsible for safeguarding the Foundation’s vision, ensuring compliance with its constitutional mandate, and upholding the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability.

Comprising distinguished professionals with experience spanning public service, law, finance, governance, and development, the Board brings collective wisdom and independent judgment to the Foundation’s work. While UHAF is founder-led in vision, it is institutionally governed through a trustee-majority framework to ensure objectivity, continuity, and long-term sustainability.
