The Umaru & Hilda Abu Foundation (UHAF) was established on a simple but powerful conviction: talent is universal, but opportunity is not.

Across communities, extraordinary young people possess the ability to lead, build, and transform society, yet lack access to structured support, mentorship, and catalytic capital.

UHAF exists to close that gap. Through disciplined governance, responsible enterprise support, and values-driven mentorship, the Foundation expands access to opportunity while upholding integrity, stewardship, and accountability.

Our work is grounded in the belief that empowerment must be structured, dignity must be preserved, and leadership must be cultivated intentionally.

The Catalytic Business Loan Programme is a strategic initiative to identify, support, and scale high-potential young Nigerian entrepreneurs through catalytic financing, mentorship, and structured business support. The programme is built to identify high-potential entrepreneurs, strengthen their capacity, and provide financial and mentorship support that enables business expansion, job creation, and long-term economic impact.
