The Beneficiary Selection Committee (BSC) of the Umaru & Hilda Abu Foundation is an independent body responsible for reviewing and recommending applicants for enterprise support under the Foundation’s programmes. Composed of experienced professionals drawn from diverse backgrounds including finance, governance, development, and public policy, the Committee ensures that every application is assessed fairly, objectively, and in line with approved criteria. The BSC plays a central role in safeguarding transparency, integrity, and accountability in UHAF’s selection process — ensuring that opportunity is granted on merit, commitment, and genuine need.
